EmpowerEd SPED was shaped by direct experience in special education operations, provider support, workflow design, and financial systems. We understand how quickly small administrative gaps can turn into billing issues, missed visibility, and unnecessary stress for providers managing their own contracting business.

Meet the Founders
Sarah leads strategy at EmpowerEd SPED. She is a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments (TSVI), a PhD candidate, and the parent of a child with low vision. Her experience across direct service, research, and family systems informs EmpowerEd SPED’s approach to building tools that reflect the realities of special education practice.
Lindy leads operations and delivery at EmpowerEd SPED. Her background includes years of operational leadership in organizations supporting students with visual impairments, with responsibility for documentation workflows, billing processes, financial oversight, HR, and organizational infrastructure. That experience shapes her approach to building systems that support providers behind the scenes so they can work more sustainably and consistently.
