About EmpowerEd SPED

EmpowerEd SPED supports independent special education providers running their own contracting business.

Across the country, schools increasingly rely on independent providers to help meet the needs of students with disabilities. While this model creates flexibility and opportunity, it also places significant administrative responsibility on individual providers.

EmpowerEd SPED exists to help bring clarity to the operational side of that work.

Clarity in documentation and billing. Confidence in your systems.

More time for students.

The Challenge Independent Providers Face

Reviewing special education documentation and billing dashboard

Many special education professionals enter independent contracting seeking greater autonomy and the ability to focus on students. What they often discover is that the operational systems supporting their work are fragmented.

Documentation, billing, and financial tracking are often managed across multiple systems, creating unnecessary administrative burden.

When operational systems lack clarity, providers spend valuable time managing processes instead of focusing on students.

The administrative side of independent contracting shouldn’t be the hardest part.

How EmpowerEd SPED Works for You

Three-step workflow for independent providers: document your services quickly by capturing what you did and when, generate invoices with ease without using multiple systems; and understand your finances by tracking revenue and making decisions.
